Nikos Painezis

Niko was born in Athens. He has studied vocal technique at the Athens Conservatoire, as well as jazz guitar in the Art Conservatory of Athens. In 2007 he graduated from the Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Training of Guildhall School of Music And Drama. He is a permanent member of the Greek Radio choir, having taken part in numerous concerts in the Athens Concert Hall and other concert halls throughout Greece, conducted by famous directors such as Kurt Mazur, Sir Neville Mariner and Helmut Rilling. As a soloist, he took part in Fantasia by Beethoven in the Athens Concert Hall with Athens State Orchestra in 2002 and 2004. In 2006 he was Deputato in Don Carlo by Verdi in the Athens Concert Hall.
