Neil Doherty

Neil has worked extensively in all aspects of theatre both here and in Dublin. He holds a Masters degree in Theatre Studies from Glasgow University. He was the recipient of the Arches Director’s award for his production of Tone Clusters which was revived to critical acclaim at the Traverse in 2006. He returned to the Traverse last year with an Arches Production of a new work Pit which was nominated for the stage ensemble award. Later this year he will be staging a new production called Cria as part of The Arches Live! festival with help from the Scottish Arts Council new work fund. Neil is very excited about directing his first production at the RSAMD.
