Since gaining a fi rst class honours degree in Performance and a Post Graduate Diploma with Distinction in Concert Singing at the RSAMD, Louise is currently studying towards her Master of Music (Opera) degree in the Alexander Gibson Opera School under the tuition of Kathleen McKellar Ferguson. Highlights of her career to date include playing the roles of Arnalta (L’incoronazione di Poppea by Monteverdi), Older Woman (Flight by Jonathan Dove) and Florence Pike (Albert Herring by Britten) at the RSAMD, performing in an opera gala with the RSNO and most recently becoming a Samling Scholar after a masterclass week with Sir Thomas Allen and Isobel Buchanan. Louise’s continuing studies are gratefully made possible due to the Musicians Benevolent Fund, The Tillett Trust and the RSAMD Trust fund.
