Duncan Williams

Duncan studied at the RCM and then as a trainee repetiteur at the English National Opera. He then was accepted as a full time member of the music staff at both Opera North and at English National Opera. Since 1997 Duncan has had a strong association with Glyndeboune where he specialises in 19th and 20th century repetoire, working closely with conducters such as Rattle and Jurovski. He is in demand on the international festival scene and very much enjoys his work with the Salzburg festival. Recording work includes Deutsche Gramaphon with Bryn Terfel and some of the opera in english series for Chandos as a music advisor.
