Bill began his career as a Costume Supervisor at the Mercury Theatre Colchester moving on to the Greenwich Theatre and the Royal Opera House. He then taught Wardrobe on the Technical Theatre Arts course at Rose Bruford College in Sidcup, Kent, leaving to become Head of Wardrobe at the newly opened Theatre Royal Plymouth for nine years. After a brief tenure as head of the Tailoring department at Det Kongelige Teater in Copenhagen, Bill returned to England and was Costume Supervisor at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley and since 2003 has pursued a freelance career. Recent national tours have included Hot Flush the Musical, Bedroom Farce and Deadlock and at the RAM, City of Angels and Jane Eyre the Musical. Also for BYO’s season, The Magic Flute and Albert Herring which was designed by Becs Andrews.
