The Forestage Curve was built for Snow Queen in 2016. It's an arc that goes from one upstage corner of the pit lift to the other, with the apex of the arc touching the downstage centre of the lift. The Forestage Curve was built for Snow Queen in 2016. It's an arc that goes from one upstage corner of the pit lift to the other, with the apex of the arc touching the downstage centre of the lift. It has an arc radius of 7194mm and is 2121mm deep at its widest point in the centre.
Usually it sits on 800mm or 1000mm legs, with the pit raised or lowered until the curve is level with the stage (900mm approx). However, it could be set lower if a step was desired from the stage to the curve, or if traps were required underneath, it could be placed on longer legs with the pit lower.
The curve has its own black skirt which velcro's onto the face. This has a drop of 1000mm.
