Dave Anderson

Dave Anderson is an actor, playwight, jazz musician, director, songwriter and musical director based in glasgow.

In the 70s he was an actor, songwriter and musical director with the ground breaking 7:84 conpany. In the 80s and 90s he was musical director, performer and writer for the popular Wildcat stage productions touring music theatre round the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands ans Scandinavia.

He also wrote songs for the Steamie

He has performed one man shows including 47, Barking, 28thingsthatbugme.com and Stardust.

Most recently as well as Mobile and Portable, two one man shows for The Play, a Pie and a Pint at Oran Mor, he has has great success with his play A Walk in the Park and the musical Tir Nan Og.

Film Credits include; Gregorys Girl, Heavenly Pursuits, Post Mortem and Orphans.

On TV he is best knowen for his long running sit com City Lights and has appeared on Taggart, Rab C Nesbit and Monarch of the Glen amoungs many other shows.
