Aleksander Langstrand

Aleksander Langstrand was born in Harstad, Norway on 21st May 1983. After completing 3 years of art at high school he then moved to London at the age of 19. While living in London he worked as both a bar tender and receptionist and after a year he returned to Norway. From the age of 20 he did scuba diving, training during first year as a student and becoming an assisstant instuctor in his second year. After completing his scuba diving course he then continued to work for the following year, both in a papermill and again as a bar tender. After this, Aleksander studied another course in Oslo, this time relating to stage and lighting techniques. In 2007 he graduated from this course and successfully worked freelance for a year doing mostly television and some theatre work. After this year of work he then successfully applied to the RSAMD where he is now studying first year Technical and Production Arts. Aleksander is specialising in lighting design within this subject.
