Bronagh Byrne
Bronagh is currently studying on the Opera Course at the RSAMD after graduating with B.Mus (hons) from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2004. Opera experience includes singing, covering and studying the roles of Norina in Don Pasquale (scenes), Adina in L’ elisir d’amore (scenes), Romeo in I Capuletti e i Montecchi (scenes), Frasquita in Carmen, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Zerlina in Don Giovanni (cover) Elisa in Il re pastore (scenes), Morgana in Alcina, Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring (cover), Sandman/Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel. Bronagh will sing the role of Soeur Constance in Les Dialogues des Carmelites (Poulenc) later this year.
Bronagh’s Oratorio experience includes; Messiah (Handel), Ssamson (Handel), Requiem (Mozart), Magnificat, Christmas Ooratorio, Cantata no. 51 (Bach), Te Deum (Charpentier) Te Deum (Bruckner), Chichester Psalms (Bernstein), Requiem (Rutter) Sserenade to music (Vaughan Williams). She has worked professionally for Scottish Opera, The London Voices, The Irish Chamber Ensemble, The Anna Livia International Opera Festival, Lyric Opera Productions and The Norfolk Trust.
