Charlotte graduated from Homerton College, Cambridge in the summer of 2003, where she read Music and Education and sung with Trinity College Choir; providing Charlotte with much oratorio experience. Charlotte then moved to London and taught as a classroom teacher at a Primary School for two years, while continuing her singing lessons. In 2005 she left teaching and joined The Royal Academy of Music on the Postgraduate Vocal Studies Course where she took part in a number of opera scenes and masterclasses. In her fi rst year she sang the role of Ottavia from Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea for Il Corpo Cantante. Charlotte graduated from The Royal Academy in 2007 with a Dip RAM Distinction in her fi nal recital. After spending the summer with Glyndebourne Festival chorus Charlotte moved to Glasgow to embark on her first year of the opera course at the RSAMD studying with Kathleen McKeller Ferguson.
