Gary is currently studying BA Production Technology and Management(2014-17) at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and wishes to specialise in production lighting.
His first production he will be involved with at the RCS will be working as part of stage crew on Mother Goose 2014.

Training
Working at a height. Ladder training. High-voltage electrical work and safety awareness. Performance and stage technology production. Gantry crane operation. Hoist motor preparation, rigging and control. Lifting winch operation. Counter weighted (single and double purchase) and non-counter weighted cleat and hemp pulleys. Cherry picker/scissor lift operation and awareness. Pyrotechnics awareness, operation and safety. (Certified by the Association of Stage Pyrotechnics (ASP) with JustFX). Lorry lifting platform loading and operation. Basic fork lift training – no licence. Stage construction and breaking. Rigging and focusing (whilst either flown out or in). Storing, moving, lifting or loading/un-loading flight cases and trucks.
