No food and drink within the venues - only bottled water.
Don't move venue equipment without prior permission from the Venues Team and supervision.
Appropriate PPE to be worn. This generally includes steel toe caps.
A red flashing light -> fire alarm.
Orange flashing light -> grid light -> hard hats to be worn.
Only members of staff can operate the pit lift.
No work in venues is to be undertaken without supervision. This is with the exception of a completed and signed off unsupervised work form.
Pockets much be emptied whilst working at height.
A buddy is needed whilst working in venues.
Fall arrest harnesses are needed whilst working at height in the AGOS, or Front of House in the New Athenaeum.
The iron must be lowered at the end of each day when the theatre is not in use.
Don't turn up drunk / hungover.
Don't use anything that hasn't been PAT tested.
If broken equipment is found, notify the Venues Team.
Book seats out at the box office in good time, if equipment will take up seats.
Each venue has it's own equipment. Don't move it into another venue without prior permission.
