A Woman of No Importance by Oscar Wilde
Directed by James Robert Carson
Designed by Francesca Branch
Synopsis
In 1893 Oscar Wilde wrote a 'Society Comedy' which, in the heavily censored theater of the time, explores with great subtlety and ambiguity the realities of a nation divided by class and cash. A complex examination of gender, class, morality and the true meaning of love, this is a hugely entertaining play with all Wilde's signature style and wit. Presented by final year Acting and Technical and Production Arts students.
