The overall design requirements for Into the New was a black box space with the option to have different backgrounds and floor colours.

Though the black box set-up was fairly simple, a few show specific elements required more specificity. The pink cloth and duvet had to nestle between bars 18 (Border) and 19 (Full Black) because of a lack of real estate in that area. We put a 12M bar on hemp and hauled them out and in by hand.
The pink wall flat ended up being substantially heavy and had to be loaded intermittently. Once the bar was taking tension on the lines, we had to load the cradle in that position. This is dangerous as it produces a significantly cradle heavy bar before it is taking the weight of the set element. Clipping and braking the bar are essential and "wrapping" the lines as it flys out is advised.
