Born in Derby, but moving to Scotland at an early age, Rachael grew up by the sea in the lovely town of Ayr. Throughout her childhood she could always be found drawing in a corner or treading the boards at PACE youth theatre. However, it wasn't until fairly late on in her education at Belmont Academy that she finally realised that there was a way of combining her loves of art and drama when she designed a costume and a set as part of both her Higher & Advanced Higher Art courses. Now in her second year at the RSAMD, she is currently working on a design project for Shakespeare's 'The Tempest', and in late November will begin her role as Assistant Designer on the production of 'Love For Three Oranges'. | |||
