Slow release Blood Bags - Rosie Orford

Equipment

1. Cellophane

2. Fake Blood (any kind)

3. Plastic cup

4. Scissors

Method:

1. Place a large sheet of the cellophane over the top of the plastic cup.

2. Pour around 1tbsp of the blood mixture onto the centre cellophane on the cup.

3. Gather the edges of the cellophane and twist the top once to create a small blood bag.

4. Place the blood bag on a flat surface and flatten the twisted cellophane. Twist the cellophane again and flattery again.

5. Continue this process until the bag can hold the blood but does not have a strong seal at the top.

The performance required a blood bag that could easily release blood. The actor held his head whilst squashing the blood bag allowing to to slowly trickle down his cheek. This method worked very well as the bag can be opened with minimal effort.
