Moving the winches
If the cables need to be unplugged, in most cases they will, make sure that the e-stop is pressed on the MCC cabinet before unplugging and the sequence reversed after the motors are in position. This makes the drive reset function within Chameleon much simpler.
Be careful of the counterweight lines while moving, they are easily trapped and damaged
Software
Drive Reset
If the encoder cables has been unplugged for moving a winch the drive must be reset within Chameleon. Either Query the axis via Axis . Query and execute the reset option under diagnostics or call up the "drive in error" from the Devices menue and execute the drive reset from there. NOTE: The axis must be live on a playback for this to work
