As responsible scenic artists we need to be aware of any damage we are doing to the environment. Traditional modern glitter has been made from non biodegradable plastics. These 'micro plastics' end up in the water courses where fish stock can ingest them. Now there is a way of making biodegradable glitter from plant (eucalyptus) cellulose. This will decompose in around 90 days when exposed to microorganisms in the soil. WIN WIN ! ( Although it does cost more than it's evil plastic cousin)
Ecostardust comes in “ultra chunky” (2.4 mm hexagonals) Excellent range of colours
