Jack Hirst is in his third (and final) year of the Technical and Production Arts programme at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland studying Stage Management. He started the course in September 2010 with only a year studying Technical Theatre , at Reid Kerr College in Paisley. Jack attended PACE Youth Theatre for five years where his love for theatre was first formed. His previous work includes “Medea” and “Aladdin” at the Royal Conservatoire; ”The Crucible” at York Theatre Royal; and Sondhiem’s “Company” at the Edinburgh Fringe as Assistant Stage Manager. Most recently, Jack worked with the third year musical theatre students on “Little Shop Of Horrors” as Deputy Stage Manager. He is looking forward to his role of Venue Stage Manager at this years “Into the New” festival at The Arches.
